Tuesday June 29, 2010
DUDLEY Heathens continued their surge towards the National League play-offs with a 63-32 win over King's Lynn in front of another bumper crowd at Wolverhampton.

Fans' favourite Jon Armstrong notched his first unbeaten score in Heathens colours with 14+1 from five outings and Tom Perry marked his last appearance in the reserve slot before moving into the main body of the team with an unbeaten 9+3.

New signing Micky Dyer won the hearts of Heathens fans with two wins in his 8-point score with the outcome never in doubt.

And even though the scoreline was one sided, there was once again some excellent racing to entertain the crowd on a well prepared track.

Maximum man Armstrong said: "It's a nice feeling to be unbeaten but it was a good all-round team display.

"This is a great club to be involved with, the fans are great and long may it continue."
