DUO READY FOR U21 QUEST

Sunday April 15, 2018
TWO of Cradley's National Trophy side will be in action in the British Under-21 Semi-Final at Birmingham on Wednesday (7.30).

Bradley Andrews, who raced for the Motor Market Heathens previously in 2016, and new face Kyle Bickley are aiming for a top seven finish at Perry Barr in order to qualify for next month's final at Berwick.

In a line-up which also includes two-time title winner and former fans' favourite Nathan Greaves, it promises to be a high quality event.

But newcomer Bickley is in high spirits ahead of the meeting and admits he'd love to see some Cradley fans make the short trip to cheer him on.

"This is going to be a pretty big year for me," he said.

"It's all about picking up as many meetings as I can to help me gain a bit more experience.

"And with Belle Vue in the National League, Workington in the Championship and Cradley in the National Trophy I'm really looking forward to it.

"I've heard a lot about Cradley and their supporters already and I know they'll be following what me and the other boys in the team do all season.

"The British Under-21s should be a good meeting; there's no reason why I can't qualify for the final and it would be nice to have a few people there supporting me."

Children Under 16 will be admitted free of charge while other admission has been set at £12 adults and £11 for concessions and students.
