Saturday October 27, 2018
COOL kid Drew Kemp admitted he “loved every second” of being a Cradley rider after winning Rider of the Year award.

The exciting youngster picked up the top gong at the end of season bash for the legendary midlands outfit.

Kemp, 16, then revealed how much Cradley had paid in what has undoubtedly been his breakthrough year in the sport.

He said: “It’s been an amazing season, I’ve exceeded all my own expectations to be honest. It’s been awesome.

“I think it’s great to get an award like this. It shows I have really done well and it’s been appreciated by the fans, that means a lot to me.

“It’s been really important to get so much experience riding for Cradley. It has meant a lot more bike time and more laps on all the tracks, that’s what I need to progress more than anything.

“I’ve really enjoyed racing at Monmore Green. It’s been a challenge because it’s a small trick track which I’m learn a lot from.

“But mainly I would like to thank Will and Gary for the opportunity to race for Cradley. This has been a big year for me and it’s helped so much. Thanks also to the fans for such great support at all times.

“I’ve loved every second of being at Cradley and I hope to get more chances in the future.”
