DUDLEY Heathens wrapped up the Travel Plus Trophy with a 106-79 aggregate triumph after a thrilling 46-44 victory over Coventry Storm at Brandon.
In what was a tight affair throughout, it took a last heat 5-1 from Paul Starke and Lewis Blackbird to secure victory on the night and maintain their winning streak in 2013.
And after the meeting, Starke was delighted.
He said: "I'm super stoked with that and I'm sure the whole team is as well.
"Heat 15 was brilliant and the team rode really well, so it was a really good result."
In the absence of regular No.1 Ashley Morris, stand-in skipper Blackbird and Starke led the charge throughout - combining for 24 points and six race wins.
Yet they received able support from middle order man Dan Greenwood (7) whilst guesting No.1 Tony Atkin and Gareth Isherwood made useful contributions.
Youngsters Max Clegg and Nathan Greaves both endured frustrating evenings, but continued to plug away to add some points from reserve to ensure the large travelling Heathens contingent were sent home happy.
