HEATHENS ADD JENKINS TO TROPHY TEAM

Sunday January 28, 2018
HOT prospect Jordan Jenkins has become the latest rising star to join Cradley’s National Trophy side.

The 16-year-old will link up with Mildenhall team-mate Drew Kemp in Heathens’ colours along with Kyle Bickley, Jason Edwards and Adam Roynon.

Jenkins is delighted to have the chance to ride for the Heathens – and he is backing their exciting side to be right in the mix for top honours.

“When I got the phone call I was happy to yes, because it’s a good chance to ride more,” Jenkins said.

“Cradley is a great club and I’ve heard a lot of good things, so it’s nice to have an opportunity to race for them.

“I’m looking forward to it, and I think we should have a chance to do well looking at the team so far.

“We’ve got two of the best reserves in the league, I’m sure Adam Roynon will be leading by example and the rest of us are capable of scoring plenty of points as well.”

Delighted Heathens boss Will Pottinger said: “I’m very pleased to have Jordan on board and the team is coming together very nicely.

“I’m very much looking forward to working with this group of riders.”
