CRADLEY reserves Sheldon Davies and Harry McGurk enjoyed their experience in the National League Pairs at Sheffield.

With captain Max Clegg on Championship duty with Newcastle, Jack Smith and Tom Spencer ruled out through injury and Danny Halsey and Luke Harris unavailable, the two youngsters were thrown in at the deep end against the league’s best riders.
Understandably, they were outclassed in their three rides but it was a learning experience for them both.
The event was won by Kent duo Drew Kemp and Anders Rowe.
Cradley head to Belle Vue Colts on Thursday (August 29, 7.30).
