BELLE VUE 53 DUDLEY 15

Wednesday July 13, 2011
HEATHENS crashed to a 53-15 defeat at Belle Vue on Wednesday in a meeting cut short because of a time curfew at the Manchester track.

The former Cradley club saw Tom Perry, last season's rider of the year, taken to hospital for precautionary x-rays on a neck injury but he does have full movement.

Both Kyle Newman (arm) and Ashley Morris (shoulder) also suffered injuries and withdrew from the meeting.

Heathens ran out of riders and were well beaten on the night.

An update on the injured riders will be issued when more information becomes available and the club would like to thank the fans who made the trip north to support their side.
